Hello again,

Well while I’ve not been overly creative in the past few weeks, I have started to get my mojo back, I printed off a stack of images to colour including this months Stamp of the Month Challenge image for From the Heart Stamps the incredibly cute Hamlet PigWit in the planter… this is the first of Faith’s PigWit images and I quickly bought some others during her release of eight new digi PigWit stamps. If you would like to join in with this challenge you can either buy Hamlet PigWit in the planter From the Heart Stamps store or if when you spend $10 you can enter code SQUEAL and you will receive the image for free, if you play along all year you will collect 12 of Faith’s amazing Digi Stamps and she has currently got a few freebies in store…

I have decided to use the current From the Heart Stamps Sketch Challenge as well…

Love Birds

Hello again,

Today I am sharing one of the cards I made for my brother and sister-in-law’s first wedding anniversary, which was almost a month ago... where did that time go?...

Last year not long after their wedding one of my Aussie card making magazines arrived with this very cute and wonderfully coloured image from Ppinky Dolls, called love in the air, which my Mum felt would make a perfect anniversary card for them, as at the reception they had a large bird cage card holder and lots of antique bird cages sprayed in various colours hanging from the ceiling with vines and fairy lights, their wedding cake also had bride and groom birds on it…

Here’s my card:-

What I used:-
14cm Square card blank

Friends Birthday

Hello again,

I’m sure that many of you are asked to make cards for friends by relatives and today I am sharing a card I made for one of my Mum’s friends birthday, Mum and her friend met many years ago when my older brother started at preschool, think early eighties, both recognised the other but it was not until they got talking that they realised why… They had both worked pre-kids in the centre of Sydney, my Mum in a bank and her friend at a supermarket nearby, one serving the other back in the day when shoppers were handed the goods they asked for, not just picked them off the shelves themselves; they have remained friends since they met all those years ago.

Mum's request was for something feminine as her friend had four sons and her hubby, girlie is something she doesn't get often.

Here’s my card:-
